What is it really like to travel on a Globus tour?  

While we, here at Globus, have been sharing our love of travel with our guests for over 95 years, we thought you may like to hear about our tours straight from the coal face...from one of our avid travellers. We searched high and low for someone who was a genuine, knowledgeable and fun person who had travelled extensively with us around the world. Someone who could share their experience with you – our past, present and future Globus travellers – so you can be inspired to go beyond the ordinary with Globus. A Globus Guru. So, meet Carla! 

Carla hails from Brisbane, Queensland and works in Aviation Security. She loves to dine out and try new foods, creative writing and travelling! When she’s not working, Carla is dreaming of her next holiday, living by her ‘work, travel, save, repeat’ mantra. The opportunity to learn about new cultures, traditions and history while meeting locals and fellow travellers is a real highlight for her. Being a seasoned traveller, Carla has ticked off some spectacular destinations with us – from the dazzling Northern Lights in Alaska and the mind-blowing wonders of Israel and Jordan, to sipping on craft beers in Oregon and discovering the highlights of Northern Italy. 

Carla loved her time in Italy with us so much that she will be returning this year! An avid foodie, Carla will be experiencing our Hidden Treasures of Southern Italy tour at the end of September so say ‘ciao!’ and stay tuned for her journey with us by ‘liking’ and ‘following’ our Globus Facebook page today.
